Using This Site

By using this site, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly. You may use the tools for personal, informational, and editorial purposes.

The Round Robin is a DBA (assumed business name) of Hansell Ventures LLC, an Illinois limited liability company.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this site. By using any paid feature or subscription, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Tool Data and Local Storage

To keep tools usable between visits, this site stores some data in your browser localStorage:

This storage is controlled by your browser. You are responsible for managing and clearing your local data if needed.

Paid Features, Billing, and Subscriptions

Some features on this site may require payment. If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, your payment is processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing schedule.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain access through that date.

If you're not satisfied within your first 14 days, contact us and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. After that window, we don't offer refunds for completed billing periods, but you'll keep full access through the end of the period you've already paid for.

Annual plans are non-refundable after the initial 14-day window. If you cancel an annual plan, you retain access through your renewal date.

If you believe you were charged in error, reach out and we'll make it right.

Pricing is subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.

Free Tier

The Round Robin is free to use with some limitations. The free tier includes one saved bracket version, image-only export (CSV export requires a paid plan), and display advertisements served by third-party advertising networks. You can use Bracket Studio without creating an account — that bracket version is saved only on the device and browser you used, with no cross-device access. Signing in with Google (still free) syncs that one saved version to your account so it's available from any device.

By using the free tier, you acknowledge that ads may appear and that advertising networks may use cookies or similar technologies to show you relevant ads. You can manage your ad preferences at any time — see our Privacy Policy for details.

Content and Accuracy

We work to provide accurate, timely information, but we cannot guarantee every data point, ranking, or projection is error-free or always up to date.

Bracketology content is opinionated analysis, not official NCAA guidance or decisions.

Liability Disclaimer

This site and its tools are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Round Robin and its operators are not liable for damages or losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, including reliance on bracket projections, metrics, or calculator outputs. To the extent any liability is not excluded, our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the site will not exceed the greater of $100 or the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Third-Party Links and Services

Some pages may link to third-party websites. We do not control third-party content or privacy practices and are not responsible for them.

Your Content and IP License

Any brackets, picks, or other content you create and save using our tools remain yours. By saving content to our servers (e.g., syncing a bracket to your account), you grant Hansell Ventures LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and serve that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell or transfer your saved content to third parties.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Informal resolution first. Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at theroundrobinhelp@gmail.com and give us 30 days to attempt an informal resolution.

Binding arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and Hansell Ventures LLC agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in Illinois or, if you prefer, via video call. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver. You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class-wide arbitration, or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable, that dispute must be resolved in court and not in arbitration.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of first creating an account or accepting these terms. Your opt-out must include your name and the email address associated with your account. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.

Exceptions. Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, and either party may bring small claims court actions within the applicable jurisdictional limits.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms to the extent such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government action, internet outages, third-party service failures (including Stripe, Google Firebase, or Google AdSense), or other events we could not reasonably have anticipated or prevented. We will make reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, any disputes not subject to arbitration will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to theroundrobinhelp@gmail.com.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised terms.
